David Harries
I am a leadership development consultant with over 25 years management experience in the not-for-profit sector much of it in international development. I have worked in many countries across Africa and Asia and have also served as a board member and later the Chair of Tools for Self-Reliance an international development organisation. For the last seven years I have been working with chief executives, management teams and governance bodies using a systems thinking approach to help them to develop their leadership skills and deliver strategic change in their organisations.

My clients are mostly Chief Executives, Trustees and Senior Managers in Social Enterprises or Charities. People driven by their values and keen to nurture good leadership across their organisations.
Some are looking for someone to support them through the development of a new organisational strategy. Others want a hand to improve the performance of their boards and some are looking for a coach to help them nurture and develop the skills of their managers.
I am passionate about Social Enterprises and the role they can play in our society and served as a board member of Bramley Baths helping to establish it as a successful community led Social Enterprise in Leeds.
